T487.  Iron tsuba that a former owner has given to Kyo Sukashi (OK by me).  Birds, pine bark (matsukawa) mon, flower, vegetable pods, and more, and all of it seems to have been lacquered (unusual).  8.3 x 8.5 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 3 cm.  Very interesting; very impressive.  $425.
