T404.  Iron tanto tsuba with gold, silver, and shakudo inlay.  5.2 x 5.9 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  Interesting hammer work on this plate: the rim has been left proud in a pie crust border.  Chidori in shakudo fly above the waves and under the moon (both picked out in gold) and on the back fishing nets in gold and silver have been racked to dry.  A nice small tsuba that won’t break the bank.  $135.
