T320.  Iron sukashi tsuba with design of plovers.  7.9 x 8 x 3.3 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  Paging through Mr. Ito’s book on Hirata and Shimizu I came across this design attributed to the 4th Shimizu Jingo master.  I can’t tell you that this tsuba is by the same hand but evidence points that way.  There are subtle tekkotsu on the rim.  $550.
