T249.  Intricately carved iron tsuba signed Jouruken Aiju (or Yoshitoshi, depending on the reading), with a gold seal.  6.4 x 6.7 x .3 cm at the rim (thicker at the seppa-dai).  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.6 cm.  The carving is precise and it is a nice touch that it continues onto the rim.  The patina is a wee bit thin in spots; otherwise condition is excellent.  $175.
