T216.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  7.2 x 7.3 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is.7 x 2.45 cm.  Classic design of a bird on a plum tree (unless it’s a cherry tree).  This tsuba is unusual in that the nakago hitsu-ana has been lined with copper to reduce its size.  The work shows a naivety that I find pleasing.  Excellent condition.  $190.
