P105.  Iron tsuba signed Yamakichiei.  6.6 x 6.9 x .4 cm at the slightly raised rim.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 3 cm.  The kotsuka hitsu-ana has been plugged with shakudo and one side of the plug is missing.  Very fine amida yasuri adorn the surface and the rim is quite nicely raised.  Looks to be a small gourd sukashi at the bottom.  A long time collector who knows a lot more than I do has seen a picture of the mei and he tells me that this is 3rd generation Owari Yamakichibei, a very well respected artist.  Condition is excellent and if you like I can put you in touch with someone who can do a 1st class job of replacing the missing plug.  Was $375; now $300.
