K163.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  7.8 x 7.8 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  Rice, leaves and grain, is the theme: nicely carved.  This comes with a paper (sorry, I don’t know who issued it) dated 1980 and giving the tsuba to Bushu Ido.  Ido means well, as in a place to get water; maybe this is a way of saying from some group in Bushu.  There is a crack in the rim which was there when the paper was granted.  Priced accordingly.  $295.
