K162.  Iron sukashi tsuba with gold inlay.  7 x 7.3 x .3 cm at the rim (thicker at the center).  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  This tsuba is signed but I haven’t been abe to read it; sorry.  Crisply cut sukashi of ginko and maple leaves (love the extremely fine notching on the maple) and gold inlay pine needles and another leaf.  The mimi is covered in gold, almost all of which remains.  The iron surface has taken on a fine, pebbly finish.  This is an excellent tsuba in excellent condition.  $325.
