J127.  Finely carved iron tsuba with a bit of gold inlay and boar’s eye sukashi at the corners.  5.6 x 5.8 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.6 cm.  The collector who has consigned this tsuba to my site thinks it is Edo Umetada or possibly Ito School work; I have no problem with that.  The carving is excellent quality (the closer you look the better it gets) and condition is mint.  $275.
