C289.  Mokume tsuba signed Myochin.  7.7 x 8 x .4 cm at the rim (.5 cm at the seppa dai).  The Myochin were another group of armor makers who made tsuba on the side, possibly as gifts for their customers.  Condition is excellent.  The mokume is made to look like mountains rising from water.  $375.
