C266.  Iron tsuba with gold inlay.  7.3 x 7.9 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.6 cm.  This is signed Umetada, a well known group of armor smiths who often made tsuba on the side.  Maple leaf (anyone from Toronto?).  There is a spot of slightly distressed patina at the bottom of the back (looks worse in the picture than it does in hand); otherwise condition is excellent.  $190.
