C236. Iron tanto or short wakizashi tsuba signed Hamano Noriyuki with a Kao. 6.1 x 6.9 x .5 cm (at the seppa-dai; it thins towards the rim). The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm. The consignor of this tsuba sent pictures to Bob Haynes (foremost authority) in 1997 and this is what Bob wrote back.
