A Japanese, wooden box made for the storage of sword fittings.  9 1/4″ high, 10″ wide, and 5 3/4″ deep outside dimensions (23.5 x 25 x 15 cm).  Lift off the lid and there are 8 stacking trays with loose, padded cloth bottoms, each 4 1/4 x 8 1/4 x 5/8″ inside dimension (10.5 x 21 x 1.5 cm).  On the side of the outer case and on the inside lid is written Kenso Kanagu Ire (Kodogu Box).  This will accomidate tsuba, kotsuka & kodai, fuchi/kashira, what have you.

Condition is excellent; nothing is broken, lose, or missing; all fits together smoothly.  3 pounds, 13 ounces.  $295.
