T549. Iron sukashi tsuba by one of the Higo smiths. 7.5 x 7.8 x .35 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm. The Higo collector I got this one from suggested 2nd Kanshiro Nishigaki as the maker. If any of the brass fretwork around the rim is missing (can’t see any) it was made that way. The silver splash around the udenuki ana is a wonderful touch. Great condition.
