T526.  Iron tsuba with brass dragon. 7.2 x 7.4 x .5 cm at the seppa-dai (tapers to 1 mm at the rim). The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.8 cm. I would call this Heianjo Zogan, although those who know more than I do might disagree. The dragon occupies the front; water plants and moving water the back. The brass of the dragon is mostly intact while fine lines of current on the back are largely missing their brass. No idea why there are 2 small holes in the shakudo plug in the ryo-hitsu. $150.
