T503.  Iron kotsuka of Daruma.  9.8 x 1.4 cm.  The monk’s eyes, earrings, and robe are inlaid in gold & silver.  My pictures give the piece a reddish cast which isn’t here in hand; the color is more a flat black.  This is signed Masaharu with a kao.  Excellent condition.  $195.
