T496.  A very nice tsuba from the Choshu School.  8 x 8.1 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  I like this one.  I picked it up earlier this year and for the past few months it has been part of my collection.  A different tsuba I bought at the San Francisco show will take its place; it is now available.  Like all great Choshu tsuba, this one has a blue cast to the iron.  The ryo-hitsu are plugged with shakudo and the rectangular ana is unusually small.  Condition is perfect.  This will come with a box.  $650.
