T471.  Shingen tsuba.  8.1 x 8.5 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.9 cm.  Shingen tsuba were supposed to have originated with the hobby of a feudal Daimyo: he ornamented old iron plate tsuba with brass and shakudo wire.  This what a Shingen looks like if the wire has been removed.  3 sukashi that might be cloud form adorn the plate and the ryo-hitsu are plugged with lead.  $125.
