T466.  Ko Kinko tsuba of yamagane with fine amida yasuri.  7.8 x 8 x .3 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is.8 x 2.9 cm.  This is a classic design for a Ko Kinko tsuba: moko-gata with boar’s eye openings.  The amida yasuri are meticulously cut: 5 lines and a gap, 5 lines and a gap…  There is plentiful evidence of use (age) on this one; I find it quite interesting.  $275.
