T456.  Umetada School iron tsuba with gold highlights.  7.3 x 7.7 x .4 cm at the slightly raised rim.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .6 x 2.4 cm (small).  Much more restrained than the usual depiction of a dragon, which is something I really like about this tsuba.  There are subtle tekkotsu all over and on the back at the bottom are what I believe to be 4 or 5 sword cuts (can’t think of another explanation for their presence).  Condition is excellent; this one is above average.  $225.
