T405.  Iron tsuba signed Yamakichibei.  7.1 x 7.45 x .5 cm at the slightly raised rim.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  Nice tsuba.  The udenuki-ana and the kotsuka & kogai hitsu-ana act as the design: a very pleasing composition.  There are subtle tekkotsu on the rim and the whole is finished with the standard for yamakichibei yakite (partially melted) surface.  This tsuba comes in a box with pillow and with a label that matches the tsuba.  Excellent condition.  $250.
