T371.  Ko Kinko tsuba in yamagane.  6.2 x 6.5 x .45 cm on the raised rim (.3 cm on the plate).  The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.8 cm.  Yamagane (mountain metal) is native copper and this yamagane has a wonderful red brown color.  Stamped flowers and a nicely raised rim: what’s not to love.  Condition is excellent; very fine tsuba.  $225.
