T301.  Canton or Namban iron tsuba.  6.8 x 7.3 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.4 cm.  2 dragons in a field of undercut sukashi tendrils chase the golden jewel.  As is typical for this group, the seppa-dai is rectangular and ornamented.  The mimi is covered in gold crosshatch, largely intact.  Other than for a bit of corrossion, which can be attacked successfully with a fibreglass pen, condition is great.  $225.
