T250.  Tosho tsuba.  Iron with sukashi and amida yasurime.  7.4 x 7.9 x .3 cm.  Tha nakago hitsu-ana is .85 x 2.9 cm.  I don’t know what the sukashi represent but given the association between the amida yasuri and Budhism, perhaps the sukashi come from the same source.  There are ample small tekkotsu on the rim and much of an old black lacquer remains on the plate.  Quite nice.  $225.
