T207.   complete set of iron kodogu.  The tsuba is 8.2 x 8.3 x .4 cm.  Its nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  All of the pieces: tsuba, kojiri, koiguchi, fuchi, & kashira are plain iron with tsuchime (hammer work) finish.  All are in very good condition with just a bit of old corrosion/wear here and there.  This would be a great set to mount: no funk or flash, just an honest working sword.

The set is mounted in a Japanese box that has been cracked and reglued a couple places on its cover, but the foam and cloth inside the box isn’t Japanese work.  13 ounces.  $450.
