T147.  Heianjo iron tsuba with whirlpools.  7.9 x 8.1 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana measures .8 x 2.9 cm.  This is a very heavy, dense plate with many tekkotsu on the rim.  The whirlpools and froth are worked in brass, quite nicely done.  Condition is very good.  $300.
