R107.  Boxed fuchi kashira of great herons in reeds and in flight: Brass or bronze (yellow copper?), fine textured surface with shakudo, gold, and silver inlay.  This is Nara School work.  High quality carving, a 1st class set.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.8 x 2.95 x 1.4cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .75 x 2.9 cm. Condition is excellent.  Was $450, now $295.
