Q805. Fuchi kashira. The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.7 x 3.7 x .9 cm. The plate appears to be suaka (brass) or possibly yamagane (native copper). There are raised relief dragons with gold inlay. The fuchi is signed Mototsune with a kao. I don’t know which Mototsune this is but I can tell you he was quite talented; the work is excellent. Great condition and the set comes in a box. $295.
