Q740. Tsuba signed Joshu Ju Saotome Ienori. 8.2 x 8.5 x .45 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .75 x 3 cm. The Haynes Index has this smith as the 14th master of the Saotome School. There is an early NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper, dated 1963, that attests to the work and signature. Excellent condition on a large, impressive tsuba. Was $425, now $375.
