Q736. Fuchi kashira signed Ichiryu Tomoyoshi kao. The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.8 x 3.4 x .95 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm. The Haynes Index lists 7 generations of Ichiryu Tomoyoshi working in Mito in Hitachi Provence. This set has a paper from The Fittings Museum, I believe, attesting to the signature and adding Jidai Edo Koki (later generation working in Edo). Shakudo plate with fine nanako, high relief dragons in shakudo with gold and silver inlay. Excellent condition, in a box. $295.
