Q621.  Iron sukashi tsuba with brass ten zogan. 8.1 x 8.1 x .45 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm. This could be either Choshu or Bushu but, since the blue black iron of Choshu is missing, maybe I’ll go with Bushu. Nice crisp carving and an excellent surface; I can see only 1, maybe 2 tiny holes where a brass dot is missing. $275.
