Q589.  Round kinko tsuba with 2 different sides.  6.8 x 7.3 x .3 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  The side I’m calling front is incised carving of flowers, scrolls, ribbons and who knows all what else (the work puts me in mind of a Keith Haring painting) around a rectangular seppa-dai that is carved into a recess.  The back is incised carving of I’m not sure what around a diamond/arabesque shaped seppa-dai.  I’m also not sure what the metal is but most likely some combination of copper and another.  I don’t recall seeing the like any time before.  Condition is excellent.  $275.
