Q331.  Shakudo fuchi kashira with fine nanako and gold inlay.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.8 x 3.2 x 1.1 cm high; the nakago ana of the fuchi is .8 x 2.6 cm.  A village scene: shakudo rock with gold tree, brush, and bridge on the fuchi; the kashira is a shakudo farmhouse or shrine accented in gold and above, in the distance, mountains with gold huts.  I think it is nice work, how the nanako on the kashira fades out as it approaches the distant mountsins: mist in the air.  Condition is excellent; the set comes in a box.  $275.
