Q217.  Shakudo kogai.  The length is 20.7 cm.  This piece appears to have some serious age to it; the fine nanako on the plate is worn and much of the gold or silver that covered some of the gourds has been lost.  Beautiful work in any case, and no condition problems.  $495.
