Q194.  Fuchi kashira and menuki in a fitted box.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.5 x 3.2 x 1.05 cm tall.  The menuki are 4.1 and 4.2 cm long.  The fuchi kashira are deep black shakudo with a delicate tsuchime (hammered) surface.  Bats in shakudo on each piece and there is a branch in copper with seed pods on the back side of the fuchi.  Not sure what the theme of the menuki is: possibly tools of some sort on a nanako plate.  Excellent condition.  $695.
