Q154.  Shakudo nanako tsuba signed Yokoya Somin.  8 x 8.9 x .4 cm from corner to corner.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.8 cm.  The plate is very fine nanako, the raised dragon is worked in gold and shakudo, and he is winding through shakudo clouds.  Somin is a very important name in kodogu; I suspect this isn’t a true signature.  In any case, the tsuba is large, heavy, and impressive.  Excellent condition.  $225.
