M234.  Namban iron tsuba.  7.2 x 7.4 x .6 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.5 cm.  I expect fragons on Namban tsuba but the dragons took the day off for this one; filling in we have a monkey.  There are the usual criss-cross and undercut tendrils, floral bits, and what may be a war fan (gumbai).  Condition is excellent.  $495.
