M160.  Iron tsuba with gold inlay.  7.5 x 8.2 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana measures .9 x 2.8 cm.  Very dense plate with a soft patina and in excellent condition.  An 8 sided window frames a scene: looks like a raft floating at the bottom and stars in the sky above.  If I had to guess I would give this to Umetada School.  It is easy to pass on this tsuba but the more you handle it the better it is.  $95.
