K243.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  7 x 7.4 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.8 cm.  This is a classic representation of a crane on a tsuba.  The eyes are brass and the wings are marked with fine kebori.  Condition is excellent.  Yet another tsuba from the box of 108 found long forgotten in a kura (storehouse) in Japan.  $275.
