K209.  Shakudo with silver & gold horse menuki, signed Yanagawa Naoharu.  3.3 x 1.7 cm at the greatest reach.  Yanagawa Naoharu was a very important artist.  I believe this set to be gimei: a forged signature, but it is quite nice in any case.  Red numbers painted on the back sides tell us that these once were in a large collection, most likely a museum somewhere.  Condition is excellent.  Was $350; now $195.
