J115.  Signed Jakushi tsuba: iron with gold nunome.  7.2 x 7.4 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  The collector who has consigned this tsuba to my site tells me he thinks this is an earlier style of Jakushi signature.  I find it interesting that the raised design on the front creates a recessed seppa-dai.The hitsu have been plugged with shakudo.  Some of the gold nunome is missing; otherwise condition is excellent.  Nice piece.  $315.
