H393.  From the Holbrook collection; Skip’s tag reads, “Tochibata, Shakudo Inlay Rim, Momoyama Period”.  6.6 x 6.7 x .65 cm on the rim (.3 cm on the plate).  The nakago hitsu-ana is.8 x 2.8 cm.  This is a very nice, small tsuba.  There is a spot on the rope twist rim where a void has been filled with shakudo, nearly invisible.  Condition is excellent.  $295.
