H375.  Iron sukashi tsuba out of the Holbrook collection.  7.5 x 7.6 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.5 cm.  Skip’s tag reads, “Kyo Shoami, Momoyama period, Spring love”.  By spring love, Skip is referring to the 2 hats and a flower: if he says so.  There are faint traces of gold nunome and condition is excellent.  I think this is a fine tsuba.  $750.
