C327. Iron tsuba signed Jakushi. 6.5 x 6.9 x .45 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.2 cm. The gold nunome zogan is largely intact and the creased rim is typical for Jakushi. The first Jakushi studied Chinese brush painting and incorporated the art form into his tsuba making; subsequent generations/students continued the tradition. Excellent condition. $275.
