This is a most unusual treatment of the skull or bones motif on kodogu; don’t think I’ve ever seen the like. Serious evidence of layering at the top of the plate. Robert Haynes has seen this one; he gives it to katchushi and thinks it may have been mounted to a naginata.  $275.
