C275.  Mokko tsuba in iron.  7.3 x 7.9 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm.  This tsuba is consigned to my site by a knowledgeable collector who thinks it is Aizu Shoami work.  He says that group was fond of the plum tree motif and the punch marks in the nakago ana are typical of their work also.  OK by me.  Executed in sukidashibori with gold and silver accents: great condition and excellent work.  $225.
