C254.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  6.6 x 6.9 x .5CM.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  Nice tsuba: boars eyes at the corners and damnedifino for the rest of the design.  The consignor of this piece suggests Matashichi as a possible source but other possibilities are here also.  Except for patina rubbing on one side condition is excellent.  $145.
