C222. Shakudo kogai of Rimpo (Buddhist Chakra or wheel of law). 1.4 x 23.6 cm. This piece is old, dating to the Muromachi. Structural condition is excellent but the patina is rubbed in spots on the back and blade. This piece is illustrated in the book, Ko Kogai from The Fittings Museum. Excellent work at a very reasonable price, if you ask me.
