A103.  Sukashi tsuba of a plum tree.  7.9 x 8.2 x .35 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is 1 x 2.6 cm.  This is a classic Higo design; the tsuba is either Higo or possibly Akasaka in origin.  Delicate carving on a plate with a wonderfully soft patina: there is a lot to like here.  Condition is primo.  $800.
