C214. Shakudo kotsuka papered to Ko Goto. 9.5 x 1.4 cm. Not much to say about this; the work speaks for itself. I will mention that the gold is better in person than in my pictures, quite brilliant actually. The NBTHK Hozon paper was issued in 2009. This kotsuka comes in a high end fitted box with a pillow which itself is housed in a lacquered box. Condition is excellent, amazing for the age. This is obviously something that has been treasured form the beginning. Wonderful. $2,000.
